This volume marks the official beginning of the modern Marvel Era. Its publication dates overlap somewhat with a few volumes of the Atlas Era collections, but the nature of the Sliding Timeline is such that this overlap has long since ceased to matter.
–> Fantastic Four: First Family: This story occurs during, and behind the scenes of, the very first issue of Fantastic Four, detailing their origin and first clash with Mole Man, and technically should be read between issues #1 and #2 of the preceding volume for absolute accuracy.
Marvel Masterworks: Ant-Man & Giant-Man, vol.1: Reprints Tales to Astonish #27 (January 1962) and 35-52 (September 1962 – February 1964).
This volume must begin prior to Amazing Spider-Man based on references in that volume. Conan lived at around 12,000 BCE, in an otherwise unrecorded era of human history. The tales reprinted in the Savage Sword of Conan volume are assumed to take place later in his career than the Chronicles volumes, and the King Conan volumes later still.

There is some dispute as to whether Devil Dinosaur and Moon-Boy’s adventures occur on Marvel Earth, or in an alternate dimension (Earth-78411, a.k.a. Dinosaur World). Assuming that it does take place on Earth-616, this is where it would occur.
